If you do not wish to purchase a wireless router, you can connect a computer (with a built-in ethernet port) directly to the NWIC POE device.
How does NWIC TV work and what channels are included?
NWIC TV is brand new for 2022. It is currently available as an ‘opt in’ service with the Seasonal 25 & 40 plans.
The channel bundle available at launch is called ‘The Essentials’. This includes access to major Canadian and American networks (eg. City TV, Global, ABC, Fox, etc.). At this time we do not have specialty channels available, but plan on expanding this in the future.
To use the TV service, you will need to request it be added to your account by calling 1 (877) 654-6942 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
This service is App-based. A current generation Apple TV (one capable of downloading apps) or Amazon Fire device (Stick or Cube) is required. Amazon devices released prior to 2019 may not be powerful enough to run the app at optimal speeds.
