Thank you for choosing NWIC. We’re excited to have your business.
The details below outline a typical wireless installation. If you have a question that is not addressed below, please don’t hesitate to send us a message.
Getting connected with NWIC is easy. New wireless connections follow the process below.
Choose a commercial internet package by visiting the NWIC for Work page. You can either submit the form on the page, or call in 1 (877) 654-6942.
Our sales team will pre qualify your location, then schedule your address for an on-location site-survey.
A field agent will call you on arrival, however you do not need to be home for this test.
Once we have confirmed signal availability at your address, we can schedule you for an installation.
Installation times are available at first come, first served – we encourage you to follow up as soon as possible to get the first available date.
After your installation, you will receive an email from the NWIC billing team with information on the following:
For billing questions, please do not hesitate to email billing@nwic.com
The standard $150 install includes the following:
Installation does not include conduit runs, or attic cable installs. If additional equipment is required, approval will be requested prior to installation.
Once installation is complete, you will be provided with a NWIC Power Over Ethernet (POE) device. This device will be plugged-in to a power outlet (inside the building) and connected to the CAT5e cable coming from the NWIC Antenna Radio. You can connect your computer ethernet plug directly to the NWIC POE or attach a Wi-Fi router (not included).
*NWIC owned, but your responsibility in the event of damage. Please see Internet Service Agreement for additional information.
NOTE: During installation a NWIC sign will be placed on the residence property. This sign can be recycled by the business (metal stand in blue box, graphic overlay in grey box).
While you can connect a computer directly to the POE unit, we do recommend that you purchase a wireless router to connect multiple devices.
Your new NWIC service will work with any wireless router, however we do have some recommendations:
